Our company was founded in 1972 by Larry Hartman, Sr. Born in November of 1936, Larry Sr. first learned his excellent skills in carpentry work and building at a very young age from his brothers, Mike and Paul Hartman, who were, in the truest sense, real carpenters. Larry Sr. worked for his brothers until the age of 32 when he decided to go out on his own.  By October of the following year Larry Sr. had founded Larry Hartman Construction.

In December of 1971, Larry Sr. and his wife Rosemary had a son, Larry. Jr. Larry Jr. decided at a young age that he would follow in his father’s footsteps of excellence and integrity in the building industry. This led to the creation of the existing company, Larry Hartman & Son, Inc., and thus the reputation has been built on experience, honesty and quality craftsmanship that we stand by today.
